Here at Phinge™, we are looking for talented and organized, applications testers that thrive in an innovative “start-up” company environment. Essential qualities required for the quality control positions are to inspect, test and sample all products made by Phinge. This position will require you to be observant and to monitor production operations and to ensure conformance to specification! Our quality control team is extremely organized, confident, and they have outstanding problem-solving skills. Work in close collaboration with the product development team consisting of software, firmware, hardware, other test engineers, and field service personnel
Carry out feature, regression, and integration tests across all aspects of our systems on a regular basis
Document and execute system audit plans
Will be required to do field travel for product support
Conduct customer and field service engineer training, and occasionally conducting product demos in the office
You have a minimum 3+ years of QA leadership experience in a testing environment
Understanding of Agile Methodology
Experience performing manual testing of web-based applications
Ability to think & execute testing from a user’s perspective
Detailed ability to review and analyze test scripts
Experience with defect management and reporting systems
Experience with test automation procedures
Excellent organizational and documentation skills
Good communication and team collaboration skills
Ability to use standard methodologies, professional concepts and objectives to resolve complex issues and achieve successful outcomes
Flexibility to accommodate evolving business needs
Work in accordance with all legislation and company policy requirements pertaining to employee safety, health and wellness
Ability to communicate information clearly
Someone who will be both, confident to work independently and be a good team member
Candidate must be able to work alone and closely with team members while maintaining a willingness to learn.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are required
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to multitask and prioritize work requirements
