Database Application Developer
Phinge™ is developing a first of its kind software platform including an OS, cloud solution and consumer, business and social media applications. This will complement our state of the art mobile phones, tablets hybrids and peripherals. Ability to be responsible for designing; planning; developing and; implementing databases; including back end rules and procedures; data scripts; security; access; and documentation. Participates in the design; coding; enhancement and of relational databases in a client/server environment
Coordinates new data development ensuring consistency and integration with existing data warehouse structure
Manage all changes to data dictionaries; and entity relationship diagrams for the ALMIS and CG-LIMS systems and related sub-systems
Author internal validation documentation to include; but not limited to; technical specifications; special instructions; and regression test plans
Debug software and identify required corrections to meet specified requirements.
Participates in special projects as required.
10+ years of experience administering/programming UNIX/Solaris/Linux systems
5 or more years of experience administering and programming against databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server and Oracle
Candidate must be able to work alone and closely with team members while maintaining a willingness to learn.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are required
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to multitask and prioritize work requirements
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are a must
Organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking
Experience with HTML, AJAX, CSS, and XML a plus
5+ years of experience in implementing, troubleshooting, and supporting Unix/Linux operating system, Internet-based applications and web servers.
Fluency in multiple programming languages.
Excellent customer service, leadership, organizational, communication and interface skills.
