Here at Phinge™, we are looking for talented and organized, human resource specialists that thrive in an innovative “start-up” company environment. Essential qualities required for the human resource positions are to handle employee relations, payroll, benefits and most importantly, training. This position will require you to be observant and to monitor and coordinate all employee relations! Our human resources team is extremely organized, confident, and are leaders within the company. Oversee the recruitment process (hiring and termination of employees)
Respond to unemployment and worker’s compensation claims
Oversee employee grievances and internal/customer incidents
Process bi-weekly payroll and manage overtime/store hours
Ensure compliance with all employment/legal requirements
Ensure store managers are following federal/state/company set policies and procedures
Communicate and craft effective company policies; update employee handbooks, contracts, job descriptions, and duties.
Maintain accurate records of all documents pertaining to company policies/procedures and employees
Oversee performance evaluations and compensation
Oversee company training and development efforts
Maintain confidential company and employee information
Candidate must be able to work alone and closely with team members while maintaining a willingness to learn
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are required
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to multitask and prioritize work requirements
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are a must
Organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking
Prior recruiting experience strongly preferred
Associates degree or higher or applicable on the job training
Ability and desire to meet others and build lasting relationships in the community
General marketing and sales knowledge
Ability to thrive in a fast paced/changing environment
Must be self-motivated, be able to problem solve complex situations, and be resourceful
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products
