Here at Phinge™, we are looking for talented and organized, logistic coordinators that thrive in an innovative “start-up” company environment. Essential qualities required for the quality control positions are to inspect, test and sample all products made by Phinge. This position will require you to be observant and to monitor production operations and to ensure conformance to specification! Our quality control team is extremely organized, confident, and they have outstanding problem-solving skills. Track and trace shipment progress
Manage daily freight schedules
Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing carriers
Proactive communication with customer service team and sales reps
Promote and practice safety accountability
Ensure environmental compliance and accountability
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and external reporting requirements
Coach and develop direct reports to build a strong cohesive team.
Support the staff; provide support and solutions to continually improve the shipping, converting and rewinding processes.
Support and promote operation’s reliability initiatives to meet department budget
Someone who will be both, confident to work independently and be a good team member
Candidate must be able to work alone and closely with team members while maintaining a willingness to learn
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are required
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to multitask and prioritize work requirements
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are a must
Organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking
Proficient in Microsoft Office
High school diploma/GED
Must be self-motivated, be able to problem solve complex situations, and be resourceful
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products.
Demonstrated ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, decimals, negative and positive numbers.
