Program Manager - HR Operations

Directs all phases of program from inception through completion.
Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of assigned program.
Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical and administrative areas.
Generates project metrics, and monitors project performance, including expenditures and conformance to budget and schedule.
Ensures that project methodologies are followed and used appropriately
Aid in the development of and insure adherence to IT project/program management best practices, processes and assists in process improvement activities.
Provides mentoring to ensure the growth in capabilities of program and assigned employees
Administers the evaluation process and maintains an environment conducive to professional growth for individuals under his/her direct supervision and may assess the performance of other staff members, as requested.
Works with the Contracts Administrator to ensure contract modifications are accurate and reflect current staffing/pricing
Performs other duties as assigned
Candidate must be able to work alone and closely with team members while maintaining a willingness to learn
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are required
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to multitask and prioritize work requirements
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are a must
Organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking
Proficient in Microsoft Office
PMP certification, or equivalent, is highly preferred but not mandatory
5+ Years of IT technical experience, preferably in networking
Experience with TMS systems. (TMW, McLeod, Etc.)
Must be self-motivated, be able to problem solve complex situations, and be resourceful
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products
Must possess experience in all phases of project lifecycle as well as authoring and reviewing project documents, such as project management plans, transition plans, and various IT work execution documents
