Regional Sales Manager
Here at Phinge™, we are looking for talented, and competitive regional sales managers that thrive in a quick sales cycle environment. As a regional sales manager, you will ensure profitable growth in sales, revenue through planning, execution and management of Phinge’s supportive outside sales teams. Regional sales manager are responsible for overseeing the sales of Phinge’s products and services through its merchants and businesses in a specified region or geographical area. Regional sales managers are leaders, outgoing, well-spoken and ready to make the deal! Train sales team of 10+ Sales clerks in telephone sales, prospecting, closing and order entry
Provide quotes of our broad range of freight services to commercial shippers requesting load quotes.
Contact the commercial shippers to review the quote and negotiate to obtain their order.
Enter the shipment order into the Dispatch Load Board and Customer Records Management system
Follow up on future shipment orders to develop repeat customers.
Work with the management team to provide constructive input to produce better results
Candidate must be able to work alone and closely with team members while maintaining a willingness to learn.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are required
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to multitask and prioritize work requirements
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are a must
Organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking
Experience selling in the Higher Education market is a plus
Previous alarm, primary education, or intercom sales experience
Technical sales experience
Ability to define specifications and standards for end users
Experience with a CRM program, a plus if have experience with SLX
Salesforce.com experience a plus
Experience working for a start-up company
1-2 years’ experience working for a technology and/or software company
Previous sales portfolio or proven success in prior sales position
Conversant with modern software and technology
Proven ability to influence others
Willingness to roll up your sleeves
Expert use of MS Office Suite, CRMs (e.g. Salesforce.com) and other systems
Knowledge of Source to Pay processes at large enterprises
