Social Media Coordinator
Here at Phinge™, we are looking for talented and creative social media coordinators that thrive in an innovative “start-up” company environment. As a social media coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring a Phinge's social media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts and increase sales. United States (Required)
Manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities. Duties include online advocacy, writing content, community-outreach efforts, promotions, etc.
Manage presence in social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and other similar community sites.
Become an advocate for Phinge in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate
Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results
Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications
Strong organizational skills
In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Twitter, Flickr, Snapchat etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios
Have a good knowledge of blogging and SEO
Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, and build and maintain relationships
Team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide others when necessary
Creative thinker with good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly
Experience with Photoshop, Google analytics and Sprout Social a plus
Ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple projects with timeliness and accuracy
Public relations, Marketing, Sales, Community Management experience, a plus
Bachelor’s Degree in related field
At least 4+ years’ experience as a front-end developer building responsive websites and web applications (bonus points if at an agency)
Experience developing templates for use in content management systems and ecommerce systems
Architectural understanding of how the web works: the web server, network requests, the browser, the DOM, stylesheets, scripts
Working understanding of web infrastructure and scalability, object-oriented programming, and MVC architecture
Comfortable developing with TFS, CSS preprocessors, linters, coding standards, branding guidelines, and both waterfall and agile development processes
Confidently and quickly able to navigate around and work within an unfamiliar codebase
Able to confidently build upon an existing aesthetic through code (e.g. new templates, components, feedback mechanisms, animations)
Able to troubleshoot and debug complex websites and applications (e.g. network requests, performance, layout issues, browser bugs)
General proficiency coding in at least one server-side language (PHP, .Net, / C# would be a plus)
Must be comfortable working with UI designers. Should have experience converting design comps created in Photoshop or Sketch into functional websites.
Strong portfolio showing expert concept, layout and typographic skills, as well as creativity and ability to adhere to brand standards.
Expert with design software including Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign CC.
Popular databases (e.g. MySQL, SQL Server)
Candidate must be able to work alone and closely with team members while maintaining a willingness to learn.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are required
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to multitask and prioritize work requirements
