Web Programmer Analyst
Phinge™ is developing a first of its kind software platform including an OS, cloud solution and consumer, business and social media applications. This will complement our state of the art mobile phones, tablets hybrids and peripherals. Demonstrated experience working with end-users to develop and document business requirements, as well as developing solutions for software applications and systems
Coursework or experience with SQL-based languages
Coursework or experience with both procedural and object-oriented programming
Ability and motivation to stay current on and learn technology related to the position
Experience working on multiple projects and teams simultaneously
Ability to build consensus among diverse constituencies regarding complex technology tools
Familiar with commonly-used art media and commercially available graphics packages
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Extensive Mainframe automation experience with Unified Functional Test (UFT) required
Ability to design the overall test strategy, coverage and prioritized risk based testing mode
Ability to train team members on automation practices, policies and procedures
Skills / Knowledge - Having broad expertise or unique knowledge, uses skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways. Barriers to entry such as technical committee review may exist at this level.

Software Development Life Cycle / Testing Methodologies - Agile - Scrum, Kanban, Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development, etc.
Programming Languages - Java, C#, Perl, Python, Groovy, Oracle, SQL, etc.
Testing tools - Application Lifecycle Management, Unit Testing, Security, Application Programming Interface, Mobile, Continuous Integration, Service Virtualization, etc.
Candidate must be able to work alone and closely with team members while maintaining a willingness to learn.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are required
Ability to meet deadlines

Experience with Ellucian Banner and Banner Self-Service or other Oracle databases
Knowledge of Ellucian Banner database, schema and tables
Experience developing and supporting SQL queries
Experience using PL/SQL and various enterprise level applications and programming languages
Experience developing web based reports using ARGOS or equivalent reporting tool
Experience working in Higher Education
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science (or related field)
